Day 3

I missed yesterday, But I'll still do day 3: A song that makes me happy. This one was easy peasy. "Good Life" by One Republic makes me feel so good! I love it.

Day two: My least favorite song: "Make a Memory" by Bon Jovi. It has made me cringe since the first time I heard it and for reason I just can't stand it.

30 day song challenge

I loved listening to the songs Marcus would put up so I decided to do it too. Day one is my favorite song.."Here comes the sun" by the Beatles. There were tons of songs that were close to being my favorite but this one always makes me happy and I've loved it ever since I watched "The Parent Trap" and the 1000 times I heard it while re-watching that movie. :)

Today I got a text from my amazing sister Kareen that said, "Claire was saying, "that's surprising" a lot yesterday. I asked if that was her favorite word and she said, "no, Gina is my favorite word".
Really Claire, could you get ANY cuter?! I love my little bff. ♥

Turn around and run away!

So yesterday during my stats test I drew these doodles whenever I needed a break from the test. (I re-drew them since we can't take our scratch paper out of the testing center). I started out so optimistic and nervous, then I bored, then I got concerned that all my studying was for nothing. I then took a little break to eat some Mentos. Those were good and the name made me think of  some good looking men so I got a little distracted for a little bit but then I went back to working on the test. And to top off a successful studying and testing day I played basketball with mis amigos. It is really a shame that this semester is ending..
....although that does mean that I will be able to wear my "immodest" clothing again. I swear sometimes it gets ridiculous. Like today I wore a tshirt that showed my upper arm...not even my shoulder and it was so immodest that I couldn't get my meal at the cannon center. Lame.
Okay, that is all. I'm now going to enjoy the sunshine. :)

Just another day in paradise

As I was dancing to Zumba tonight I was thinking, "Hey, Zumba is really fun!" and, "I should be working on my essay or studying stats!!" (sidenote: I'm still thinking that as I write this..and I'm still not working on either one)
I figure when I get old and start reminiscing I will be happy to talk to my grand kids about how when I was "young and hip" I used to get down on the dance floor! I might also give them a preview of my booty shakes and pumps, just to gross them out (although I'm pretty sure if I saw my grandma dancing, I would probably die of laughter and then gain huge respect for her). It is in my blood to love dancing though..that same grandma I was just talking about used to dance in an old lady dance crew...sequin outfits, fringe, tights and all.

 So maybe when I get to be this old (please let that come slowly!) I can change out my zumba dancing for some tap dancing. Although I don't (and no one take offense please) actually like tap dancing, I think it looks silly.
Anyways, that is about all. I am now going to actually start my essay and then study for statistics. :)

Misery

So despite the post title...I'm not in misery, I'm just in love with Adam Levine, the man who sings that song. I think he could be the actual definition in Webster's dictionary for the word "sexy".
Anyways, I just thought I would update this little thing, even though I am pretty sure Kenzie is the only one who reads this on any kind of a basis. Shout out to you Kenzie! :)
I really have no idea how a month has already gone by since  I last posted anything-time is seriously going by too fast! Winter semester is coming to an end and soon I will no longer be a freshman and Ill be out of the dorms and I will have to make my own food instead of running to the Cannon Center. I feel like if life keeps going at this pace I will be an old grandma before I know it!

I really do have such a perfect life though-I have loving friends, loving family, the gospel, safety, a place to sleep every night, food and a bright future. Speaking of friends, I had a blast with them at the festival of colors this past weekend! I'm so glad that I get to go to college with my bestest friend Kari-everything is clean and fun when she is around and I love her for it! :)
