College

Last year at this time I was dreaming about BYU and how amazing it would be to go there. Then a few months later I accepted the fact that I was going to BYUI..then surprise! I actually do geto to attend BYU. I didn't really know what to expect but everyone I ever talked to about college just said it was SOOO fun and amazing. I am begining to think those people were just trying to convince themselves that they really enjoy living hours away from their family. I do like BYU and it really is a dream come true to be here. I am loving my classes and I am having fun hanging out and doing things on the weekend but the people who mean the most to me are still hours away. On the bright side though...Brad and Holly and Eva are just about the best people here in Utah. I LOVE going to morning workouts with Holly and playing with Eva while we go shopping and just haning out with Brad. I am so so so thankful that they are here and are so willing to spend time with me.
I am also so thankful for telephones that allow me to stay in constant contact with my family back at home. I love getting phone calls from them. Also I got a letter from Adam the other day and it made me about the happiest I have been since I have been here at BYU just to hear his days adventures. I love and miss my family but I also am liking school..so its all good. =]

The Elderly

Today I was talking with my mom about my grandma and her recent trip to Utah to visit her sisters. Apparently they argued over little things like who had to sit in the middle seat of the car and one sister ended up saying, "I just have to get out of here, Fern hates me". As sad as that is, I kinda of got a laugh out of it.I mean, who argues over the middle seat when they are 90? haha. I just REALLY hope that when I am old I can be like this couple; off to the right; cute, stylish, and still in love. Or if my husband dies before me, at least be happy still. I am just going to die if I am one of the old, grouchy, no-fun-to-be-around kind of old people. Anyways, now I will just enjoy being young. I think I might go buy some things I need for college with my sister Kareen today. When me and all my sisters are old-we are going to be awesome. =]

Me

This may sound weird-but people keep telling me that they think I will be one of the first girls married once I go off to college. I feel like I should take this as a compliment, but I just take it as that people don't think I can control myself or something. I love being single. There are so many fun things I can do because I'm single. I don't know, I guess I just like having my independence and I really don't need a boy right now. They are just big horn dogs and are better as friends right now until they grow up a bit. I have stuff I want to do..I want to study abroad and experience stuff. This doesn't mean I don't enjoy romantic comedies still, I do, I just think boyfriends are over rated. ;)

Little Crush

So I have an obsession with the show, So you think you can dance. I look forward to Wednesdays at 8:00 because then I get to go out to my sisters house and watch it with her. Well, this season might be my favorite so far because Kent Boyd is so much fun and so good!! He is just so cute and he is so much fun to watch. I wish I could dance half as well as the contestants, but for now I will just stick with the strobe light dance parties with my nieces. =]

Simple Things

Some things are too funny to pass up. Macie found this weird looking Ritz-

a Ritz with tits! Also, some unlucky person has the license of 222-VJJ.
If you understand why I think this is funny, well, you think it's funny. If you don't get it- more power to you.

Smelling Like Campfire

So I went to the ocean for the Laurel High Adventure and it was awesome!! The drive to our campsite in Newport took FOREVER, but we tried to have fun by singing to High School Musical 3 over and over. Once we got there we ran down to the beach and splashed around. The ocean never gets boring and is amazing every single time I see it. Wed morning I went with some friends and went running down on the beach. It is great, I just ran and wished that I didn't have to get back to camp so soon because it is so pretty. Anyways, Wednesday's weather was perfect, and we spent a lot of time down at the beach. (after going into town and finding some sweet bracelets) I went boogie boarding and that was awesome!!! SO FUN!! I had never gone swimming in the ocean before and was not quite ready for the saltiness of it getting in my mouth and nose, but it was fun..even when I ate it. I loved it. We also went to the tide pools and played with the sea anemones and star fish, built an amazing sand town, went to an aquarium, saw sea lions laying around (one even pooped, peed, and barfed), went into a legit hippie shop and bought a unicorn bumper sticker, had a camp fire down at the beach, and went kayaking on Beaver Creak.

On the car ride home we watched Step Up, and Step Up 2. I stiking love those movies. I also watched the So you think you can Dance finale with Kareen late that night..Im just in the mood for dancing shows. By the way...JEANINE WON!! wooo!! My favorite from the beginging..and also....she is with Jason, and I really like that. Well, Im gonna up load some pictures now, clean the bathroom, then find something fun to do. =]
