Awake my Soul
In these bodies we will live
In these bodies we will die
Where you invest your love
You invest your life.
Mumford and Sons have some great (and true) lyrics. I think I invest my love and my life in my family, friends, school, the gospel and relaxing.
I'm home for Thanksgiving break and so obviously Ive been hanging out with my family, which makes me very happy. I spent most of Saturday night playing WWI, WWII and WWIII with my nieces and nephew. It was way more fun than I expected...even though Dillon gave me a dead leg! But it was so fun and Claire and Abby were my protectors, and they did a great job! We ended up surrendering to the boys all three wars, but we put up a good fight. They are all growing up so fast it is crazy!
Claire also said something that made my day-Her dad asked if he could have a hug and a snuggle and she said, "No daddy, Gina is in town" :D It's a good thing she is so loyal because she'll always be my little BFF.

If you want God to Laugh at you, Tell Him your plans
For starters, I just have to say that the Great Mackenzie P. told me that quote. I really liked it.
Also, I thought that since Thanksgiving is coming, I would make a post about some of the things I am thankful for for.
To do: I am thankful for days when I have the motivation to get everything done-they are rare, so its a great feeling when they do come.
Mexico Flag: I have decided to go to Mexico next fall to teach English to little ninos. I am really thankful for opportunities that I am given-I am given so many!
Music note: As I was walking home from my volleyball game, this cute soccer boy was singing outloud. He was not singing well, and it made me laugh. I am thankful for people who are willing to look like fools that make me get a good laugh. :)
BYU: Yep...I am thankful for BYU and what it makes me do and what it gives me a chance to become.
Friends: Fun weekends and finally making some friends!
Also, I am really thankful that Brad and Holly are able to drive me home for Thanksgiving-only a few more days!!!

It doesnt cost a thing to smile, you don't have to pay to laugh
Seek the Higher Ground:
Well this Mormon message has made me want to serve abroad. I think it would be so much fun to go with a friend, travel to a far away land and serve the people for a few months. Now I just need to find a program to do it, and someone to go with, and do it!
For now though I just stick with Freerice.com
Check it out. It is the easiest way to serve AND get some knowledge in- I like it.

Night of all Nights
I think I have to start this by thanking Kareen, Jill and Rachel for getting me hooked on So You Think You Can Dance.
Then I need to thank Holly for coming to watch the tour with me last night.
It was seriously the best show ever. Waiting for it to start was fun, counting down for the dancers to come out was a thrill, watching them come on stage for the first time made me scream so loud I felt like I was going to throw up, watching them dance blew my mind, and getting to take pictures with them afterwards was the topping of the cake.
Honestly, I think I may cry tonight at 7:30 because I really just want to be able to watch them again. Some bands have groupies, but I think SYTYCD needs some too and I would be more than willing to join in. Especially if I got a kiss from Robert and Kent everytime.
For reals though, it was such an amazing night that I will probably never forget!! Thanks for making it so much fun Holly!!
